A web-based health education tool that uses medical records, lab results, and questions to find relevant research from PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and the FDA. It explains findings in plain language, links claims to source excerpts, and helps prepare for appointments.

Inciteful Med answers your questions, using only peer-reviewed literature found via network graph.
Every claim is supported with a citation that shows the exact excerpt from the source, and a link to the original. This is not an LLM - it is a proprietary library reference tool (itself cited 160+ times in academic literature), that uses an LLM to summarize excerpts so they are accessible to a layman's audience.
If you connect your health records, you also get in-depth views into all of your records data (generally only accessible to doctors).

What is Inciteful Med?

Inciteful Med is a web-based health education and research tool for patients, caregivers, and advocates. Users can ask health questions, upload or connect medical records, review test results, and prepare questions for clinical appointments. It is intended for informational use and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The service retrieves and ranks medical literature, including material from PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and the FDA, then uses AI to synthesize plain-language responses. Answers link claims to source excerpts, and can incorporate the medical information supplied for a patient profile. Paid plans additionally support ongoing monitoring of connected records and newly published literature, with notifications and appointment preparation.
