What is Horde?
Horde Groupware is a free, enterprise-level, browser-based collaboration suite built on the Horde framework using PHP. Its features include an IMAP email client, calendar, notes, tasks, file manager, wiki, and task tracking software. The suite incorporates applications such as Kronolith, Turba, Nag Mnemo, Gollem, and Trean. It offers dynamic, basic, and mobile interfaces, shared resources, and unlimited resources per user. The software supports 41 languages, including right-to-left scripts, and features a global tagging system, customizable portal screen, and an online help system. It allows import and export of data, synchronization with mobile devices, and integrated user management. It works on any web server with PHP support and offers database support for systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. It also includes calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes functions, and can integrate into external clients like Apple Calendar, Mozilla Lightning/Sunbird, and Microsoft Outlook.
