What is hiveDisk?

Store your data safely in hiveDrive. It federates unused computing resources to form a sustainable, distributed cloud. Say goodbye to energy-hungry data centers.

Secure. Private. Resilient.

hiveDrive encrypts your data and distributes it in small pieces across the hiveNet network, guaranteeing security and privacy. Only you have the key to bring it all together.

Client side encryption

Your encryption key is the only one that can unlock your files. Everything is encrypted before it leaves your device, and is decrypted only when it's safely on your device again.

Privacy

We never share or sell your data, and make it impossible to access your files by anyone other than youself. hiveNet is engineered that way and there is no way around it.

Data resiliency

Your data is safe in hiveNet because it’s distributed as small chunks across many ‘nodes’ all over the hiveNet network. Nodes can go offline but your data stays intact.

Built by a community sharing unused resources

Participate in a shared economy where unused computing resources are put to good use. Share a part of your drive space to help form a distributed cloud and get the amount you share back as cloud storage space.
