My external 1TB Hard Drive that copies file from 25MB/s speed and then to 0MB/s before it gives an error message which I already know is a cache issue. This software solved it instantly. I am very grateful to the developer. You saved me a lot of headaches Dev. Thank You.
Installs to User\\AppData\\Roaming. Latest seen is 2013-07-24 v0.1.2 Beta. Oddly and/or Interestingly, you access the GUI/dashboard by clicking the uninstall button of the program in the forementioned folder (making shortcuts is helpful). I've uploaded a screenshot showing the dashboard and the warning when you check the box for Write activation. The first images are my benchmarks of different similar programs. (I should put that with the images) Basically, you should be familiar with what a RamDrive does & this program in effect creates a temporary RamDrive. Ramdrives process info about 10x the speed of SSD.. very fast. They use the Ram sticks you have, but when power goes off for whatever reason, whatever is stored there is erased. How safe it is to your Operating System in a case of lock-up or power outtage, I'm not sure. Recommended only if you have a good backup or image backup of your system. This is a good program, but after benchmarking, I found that it isn't the fastest of RamDrive type programs. I prefer IMDisk.
The program looks very promising but I cannot tell if it is still working int the background when I had the window closed.
From what I see, it keeps working until you uncheck the write acceleration box, which will stayed checked even after restart.
