HackySack

HackySack is an ultra-fast, stealth desktop assistant built with Rust, Tauri, and React designed for live technical, behavioral, and coding interviews. It runs transparently on top of active windows, captures dual-channel system and microphone audio, transcribes questions in real-time, and provides instant talking points and working code snippets.

Key features:

• 100% Stealth Screen Protection: Uses native Windows display affinity APIs to remain completely invisible during full-screen desktop shares on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Discord. • Free BYOK Support: Bring your own free Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Gemini, or OpenRouter API keys with local credential encryption, eliminating restrictive credit caps and mandatory subscriptions. • Dual-Channel Speech Engine: Rust-based WASAPI audio processing with real-time speaker separation and an "Interviewer Only" mode so candidate speech does not clutter AI context. • Click-Through Ghost Mode (Ctrl+Alt+C): Toggle mouse input pass-through to type directly into your IDE or terminal without hiding the overlay. • 1-Click Screen Capture OCR (F10): Instantly capture live coding prompts, SQL queries, or system architecture diagrams directly off the screen for instant AI analysis. • Ultra-Lightweight Performance: Uses less than 60MB RAM with instant startup, avoiding video call lag common with heavy Electron apps.
