Very basic, but still pretty good for freeware.
It is a fantastic light-weight tab maker. The interface can be one-handed once you get familiar. But I think it's no longer supported or updated (as of 2019). Boo!
I've used Tux guitar for several years now and wrote some song ideas, added chords and it worked just great. Had one problem, the program crashed a couple times.
