There are more than 50 alternatives to Grammarly for a variety of platforms, including Online / Web-based, Windows, Mac, Google Chrome and Linux. The best alternative is LanguageTool, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Grammarly are Hemingway Editor (Paid), Slick Write (Free), ProWritingAid (Freemium) and (Freemium).
