    OsmAnd is like a Swiss army knife of navigation apps. It is amazing not only for driving, but hiking, cycling, horseback riding, boating... you name it! It is more difficult to set up than most other apps, but its versatility is incredible. It can connect to the car through ODB, show weather overlays, and many many things one doesn't even associate with a navigation app.

    I'm searching for a replacement to Google Maps. I mostly use it for live-time public transportation routes and schedules. Unfortunately, HERE WeGo couldn't even get close to a reliably accurate account of the regular schedules in the Canadian city I live, let alone in live-time.

    Requires a specific device, from a specific company, unlike most others. These should be split into two sections: Google Maps on Web and Google Maps on Android, so one does not get recommendation, worth nothing of value in advice, since you cannot take OSM with you on the go.
