Very simple, nice graphic and it is really privacy-friendly. No personal data is tracking data is very difficult to find these days!
Please be aware that GoatCounter (Martin Tournoij) is a scam. If you start paying them, there is no way to stop the recurring payments. Not even deleting your GoatCounter account will stop them from charging you. Several users have reported GoatCounter's fraudulent behavior. My claims can be backed up by checking the following pages: https://github.com/arp242/goatcounter/issues/561 https://archive.ph/Wyy0g
Absolutely love the simplicity and quirky old-fashioned design of it.
One thing I'd love it to have, hopefully not increasing it philosophy of being simple, is the bounce rates. I saw there was a PR for that a while back too (https://github.com/arp242/goatcounter/pull/292), but was closed?
It's still great otherwise!
GoatCounter seems to be the perfect solution for privacy-conscious real people. If you have a website and don't hate your readers, this is a great tool to keep in your back pocket! :)
this is the best analytics tool which is privacy friendly and free to use that i could find of. i think the warning above is misleading and solved long ago.
Easy to setup, easy to understand UI and flow, detailed enough statistics. It really is a privacy-focused alternative to GAnalytics.
the only little tiny thing which I feel needs to be improved is the graphical UI. Everything else is AWESOME. Perfect for almost everybody
