GNOME Web
A simple, clean, beautiful view of the web
What is GNOME Web?
GNOME Web is the web browser for the GNOME desktop, based on the popular WebKit engine. It offers a simple, clean, beautiful view of the Web featuring first-class GNOME desktop integration. Its code name is Epiphany.
Desktop integration If you use a particular website as if it were an application, make it one! Web allows you to make any website a first-class citizen of your GNOME desktop.
Good stuff built-in No fumbling around to install extra extensions. Essential features like ad blocking that are relegated to extensions by other browsers come built-in and enabled by default in Web.
Simple. Clean. Beautiful. No useless widgets or wasted space. Web closely follows GNOME 3's design philosophy.

Said about GNOME Web as an alternative
It helps me stay focused on web pages rather than the web browser. It has everything I need and nothing more. The GTK interface is simply awesome.
Very good project. Free and open source.
Very simple and easy browser, fits perfectly around the Gnome desktop. Made on top of WebKit, so it opens all websites as you would expect.

It has a simple and beautiful design. Too bad it has few developer tools or I already would have switched to it
Actually, GNOME and Epiphany are free software. Though they fit the criteria for Open source, they are marketed and released as free. Also, Free Software is different from Freeware. Free Software respects the user's freedome, where Freeware is generally used to describe a proprietary program distributed without a fee(gratis)
