Epiphany works well as a companion to Firefox or its forks to install websites you want to stay signed into as web apps. On its own though, its quite limiting compared to both Firefox and even Chromium. Still highly recommend giving it a try.

Desktop integration If you use a particular website as if it were an application, make it one! Web allows you to make any website a first-class citizen of your GNOME desktop.
Good stuff built-in No fumbling around to install extra extensions. Essential features like ad blocking that are relegated to extensions by other browsers come built-in and enabled by default in Web.
Simple. Clean. Beautiful. No useless widgets or wasted space. Web closely follows GNOME 3's design philosophy.

Comments and Reviews
Gnome Web is a really solid browser for every-day browsing. Good performance, simple UI and the best touchpad-Gestures of any Linux Browsers. Though as it's based on WebKit, the engine of safari it's incompatible with a sizable amount of websites. Also, for now there are no extensions.

It has a simple and beautiful design. Too bad it has few developer tools or I already would have switched to it
Actually, GNOME and Epiphany are free software. Though they fit the criteria for Open source, they are marketed and released as free. Also, Free Software is different from Freeware. Free Software respects the user's freedome, where Freeware is generally used to describe a proprietary program distributed without a fee(gratis)
