What is Gnome SSH Tunnel Manager?
gSTM is a front-end for managing SSH-tunneled port redirects. It stores tunnel configurations in a simple XML format. The tunnels (local, remote and dynamic) can be managed and individually started/stopped through one simple interface.

Just stumbled upon this while trying to find a useful GUI for simple SSH tunnel management. So far it integrates well with ssh-agent for password-less tunnel construction / re-construction.
I have yet to put it through the ropes and dealing with client / server going down.
It's a great alternative to spawning a bunch of shells to start the tunnel or setting an automatic script and having to poke around to tell if the tunnel died or not.
