What is Glipper?
Glipper is a clipboard manager for GNOME.
It maintains a history of text copied to the clipboard from which you can choose. You can see this as a GNOME counterpart to KDE's Klipper.
Glipper uses plugins to give the user all the extra functionality they want, including support for Actions, Snippets and No-Paste services.
Features
- extendable - Glipper can be extended by python written plugins
- GNOME integration - Glipper is a GNOME panel applet and makes use of gconf
- GNOME Human Interface Guide compliant
- simple elegant design - we aim just to get the job done
- internationalisation support - we already ship three languages (we need translators)
- portability - Glipper should run on every system which supports GNOME and Python
