I like Glaze and paid $20 to play with it for a month. I created 3 apps: a DVD creator with a basic menu and fewer clicks to create (https://www.glaze.app/app/dvd-composer-e4gPPz), an Apple Mail add-in app to quickly unsubscribe and trash, see potentially malicious banners on the emails, and view in card view (https://www.glaze.app/app/mail-deck-bXcgoO). I also created a quick game to train yourself on recognizing suspicious emails (https://www.glaze.app/app/catfish-MyJzAn). It's awesome for...

Raycast doesn't let you bring your own API key for this, but they do for Raycast?

I also created a quick game to train yourself on recognizing suspicious emails (https://www.glaze.app/app/catfish-MyJzAn). It's awesome for Mac. Glaze installs dependencies and troubleshoots itself when you mention something didn't work. It told me what it needed but didn't need me to install anything for it. I requested a Windows version, too.

Super neat MacOS vibe coding application. I got 120 credits for free, and used 20 credits to make a Metadata Cleaner app! :) Check it out: https://www.glaze.app/app/metadata-cleaner-cIfs1T

What is Glaze?

Glaze is an AI-powered desktop app builder from Raycast icon Raycast that lets users create Mac apps by describing what they want in plain language. Instead of generating browser-based tools, Glaze builds local-first desktop apps that run on the user’s machine, launch quickly, and can work offline.

Apps created with Glaze can access desktop features such as the file system, keyboard shortcuts, menu bar integration, background processes, local hardware, APIs, and other connected services. Users can build personal utilities, workflow automations, internal tools, menu bar apps, and team-specific software, then modify them through conversation or by editing the underlying code.

Glaze also includes options for sharing apps privately, publishing them to a team store, or making them available through the public Glaze Store. It currently supports Mac, requiring macOS Tahoe and Apple Silicon, with Windows and Linux support planned.
