I have been across many free alternatives to make gifs on my Mac screen but this application seriously is the best in the platform , high quality with perfect features , the option to capture all screen or precise window is very useful as in some cases I just want to make gif from specific app . also the new Design with the ability to trim the gif and instant sharing across all cloud platforms is awesome , I get GIFOX since it's first release and this version deserves the upgrade . the killing feature is the ability to choose the best quality and compression rate for the gifs with a friendly and easy to use UI , brilliant application seriously . highly recommend it .
