What is GetSafeNow?

GetSafeNow is a messaging service for Android and iOS supporting end-to-end encrypted individual and group chats, voice and video calls, and file and media sharing. Accounts use usernames instead of phone numbers, and encrypted, password-protected key backups can restore message history on another device. Group chats support administrator and moderator roles.

The service provides a free shared messaging server and managed dedicated servers for organizations, with centralized user administration. Dedicated deployments can restrict federation by approving which other servers may connect. The Pro plan includes a web-based compliance console, configurable audit-log retention, compliance viewers, and exportable reports.

GetSafeNow is built on the open Matrix protocol. Messages, calls, and shared files are encrypted, the app does not use advertising, tracking, or data sales.
