What is Genchi?

Genchi offers a predictive tool to help engineering leaders spot projects at risk of missing deadlines. The tool gathers insights from project members via Slack by asking them regularly, "How confident are you the team will achieve their goal by the deadline?" Members respond anonymously on a scale of 1 to 5. These responses are aggregated into a single score per project and tracked over time, enabling leaders to identify potential issues early and intervene if needed.

The software also includes a continuous version of the 'fist of five' confidence vote used in agile and SAFe methodologies, with optional comments and blockers for follow-up. It can import projects from Jira and Asana, and display the portfolio inside Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok through its MCP connector. The service is free for teams up to 10 members, and larger teams are charged $2.50 per user per month.
