Gecko Alternatives

Gecko is described as 'is the name of the layout engine developed by the Mozilla Project. Gecko's function is to render web content, such as HTML, CSS, XUL, JavaScript, and render it on the user's screen or print it' and is an app in the Development category. There are four alternatives to Gecko for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Mac, Windows, Xfce and Online / Web-based. The best alternative is NetSurf, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Gecko are WebKit (Free, Open Source), Servo (Free, Open Source) and Blink Rendering Engine (Free, Open Source).
