List of alternative operating systems for home users
This is a list of Linux, BSD and other operating systems that I do personally consider the best options for beginners and home users. The list does not include operating systems that is targeting advanced users and enterprises in the first place. All operating systems on this list do take it their priority over anything else to deliver a smooth experience and a reliable, stable and secure operating system for beginners and average home users.

It boots in seconds and is a rock solid immutable OS. It supports seamless Android Apps with PlayStore and can run Debian/Flatpak... Apps(Crostini) you could even run windows apps with wine or any other Linux layer...
I have tried several Android x86 releases (PrimeOS, BlissOS) as well as ChromeOS Flex on which FydeOS is based. Overall, I tend to recommend FydeOS for a more pleasant and seamless user experience, especially if you also need Android applications or if you want a slightly greater distance from Google. In direct comparison, ChromeOS Flex is the best option for those who just want a self-updating, fast and unbreakable system and don't need Android apps. However, Linux/Debian applications can also be installed on both systems.
The releases I tested that are based on Android-x86, on the other hand, seem like a foreign body to me and also bring more hardware incompatibilities with them. For example, it's difficult to work with the touchpad on my laptop because the mouse cursor always moves when I click.
