FreeIPMI Alternatives

    FreeIPMI is described as 'provides in-band and out-of-band IPMI software based on the IPMI v1.5/2.0 specification. The IPMI specification defines a set of interfaces for platform management and is implemented by a number vendors for system management' and is an app in the Network & Admin category. There are six alternatives to FreeIPMI for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Self-Hosted solutions, iDRAC and MS-DOS. The best alternative is MeshCommander, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like FreeIPMI are IPMIView (Free), OpenBMC (Free, Open Source), iDRAC (Freemium) and IPMICFG (Free).
