Foudra was built to bridge this gap. Originally developed as the internal manufacturing engine for Kalopa Robotics—a company building autonomous ocean drones—Foudra was born out of pure necessity. We needed a robust way to manage complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), track inventory, and run our factory floor without bleeding cash on enterprise software licenses. We also wanted to schedule our 3D-printers automatically based on demand. It worked so well for us that we spun it out for everyone else.
