FOLIO Alternatives

    FOLIO is described as 'community-based collaboration making open source technology available to all libraries'. There are eight alternatives to FOLIO for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Windows, Mac, Self-Hosted solutions and LibraryThing. The best alternative is Koha, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like FOLIO are Evergreen ILS (Free, Open Source), PhpMyBibli (Free), Omeka (Free, Open Source) and TinyCat (Free Personal).
