What is FocusMe?
FocusMe is a productivity software that enables users to concentrate on their tasks by blocking potential distractions on their devices. The software has the capacity to prevent access to social media platforms, news sites, games, and even your email inbox. Available for Windows and Mac systems, it can be obtained either through a one-time purchase or a subscription. Additionally, FocusMe is also available for Android devices free of charge.

Due to serious procrastination issues I have tried almost every app to master my internet addiction. For me FocusMe is the best app I could find. There are plenty of options. I especially like the possibility to work with whitelists (block every url apart from a couple of essential websites). Also the app has undergone major improvements since I use it (for 2 years now). Also I would like to mention the excellent customer support, which helped me via email or even teamviewer, if necessary. In other words, if you really would like to defeat your internet addiction while you have serious work to do, you should definitely check out this app. I haven´t found anything which came close. Keep up the good work.

I've been using FocusMe for several months (after becoming disillusioned with Freedom), and although it does a great job blocking things, its UI is atrocious.
Adding apps and sites to block is a cumbersome process, and maintaining lists (for use in multiple plans) is a special form of hell. Changes to lists don't propagate to other plans and must be manually cleared and re-imported each time you make a change. Tables of data show a single item at a time and must be scrolled through.
Also, in many places, UI elements overlap each other, so there's text and checkboxes behind buttons and page indicators.
If they ever manage to fix the UI, it could be great.

This product is a life-saver. I have tried every single app out there and this is the only one that actually works to keep you accountable.
I've completed more in the past 6 months than the past 4 years, all thanks to FocusMe.
Their support is honestly, the best i've ever experienced. I can't recommend this enough.
It all works properly unlike other softwares I've tried. And, ofcourse the customer support is always there. Not easy to pass by all the locking systems made. Very good software.

This software is a life changer for me, without any exaggeration. Other block software are often very easy to circumvent. Focusme actually blocks the sites/apps every time and has great features, for example, you have to input a certain amount of characters to stop the block. This is great because you really don't want to put in the characters as it takes a long time, so you won't just stop the block immediately. But at the same time you do have the option to stop the block in case of an urgent matter. This allows you to set very strict blocks and still have the possibility to change it afterwards, but not too easily! This is an almost perfect solution that I haven't really seen on other block softwares. Thank you so much to FocusMe! Without this software I would maybe be able to get done half as much as I get done right now (probably even less). Digital distractions - social media, tiktok, youtube, are the poison of today and you should limit yourself quickly so that you can become the 100% version of yourself, instead of a 30-50% version of yourself.
