What is FlowRunner?

FlowRunner is a visual workflow automation platform with built-in AI agent orchestration. It runs workflows autonomously, pausing for human intervention when needed. Unlike other platforms, FlowRunner involves human input during runtime, not as a step in the workflow. An agent assembles context and choices, sends them to a person through various communication channels, and resumes with their response. A run can be suspended for up to a year, avoiding time-outs for lengthy decisions.

The platform provides audit trails and Role-Based Access Control at the mid-tier level, eliminating the need for a custom contract. A Business Associate Agreement is also available. All FlowRunner tiers include unlimited users, workflows, and full integration catalog access, with no seat or connector restrictions. Billing is per workflow run, not per action step. Agents use your own AI provider keys without extra inference charges. FlowRunner can be cloud or self-hosted.
