Is FileZilla Secure a good alternative to FileZilla?Comments about FileZilla Secure as an Alternative to FileZilla
John FastmanFileZilla Secure is ABSOLUTELY the best alternative to FileZilla. FileZilla stores passwords in plain text which is an unforgiveable security flaw. FileZilla Secure fixes this. Unfortunately, FileZilla Secure is available for Windows only at the moment. Linux and Mac versions are on the way, we are told. Let's hope.

Comments about Cyberduck as an Alternative to FileZilla
Free, open source and well designed!
Great FTP Client software.
Cyberduck is a good FTP/SFTP client for macOS and Windows. It's been my go-to FTP software for years, and it has a much more modern and clean interface compared to FileZilla. The only drawback is that it's not available for Linux.
It has a nice, user-friendly interface and is "more than only FTP" because of all the cloud connections you can add. In other words, the ideal tool for a remote workplace.
Besides standard FTP access, it offers access to cloud storage providers. Another big plus is the better looking User Interface.
