    1. Wireshark is the world's foremost network protocol analyzer. It lets you capture and interactively browse the traffic running on a computer network. It is the de facto (and often de jure) standard across many industries and educational institutions.

Wireshark is a packet analyzer, not an alternative to debugging proxy like Fiddler or MITM are.

Charles is an HTTP proxy / HTTP monitor / Reverse Proxy that enables a developer to view all of the HTTP and SSL / HTTPS traffic between their machine and the Internet. This includes requests, responses and the HTTP headers (which contain the cookies and caching information).

This alternative is disputed. OWASP Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) is still a legitimate alternative to Fiddler, but it might have issues that some users think are important.
ZAP is a proxy for attacks, not a proxy for development

James is a HTTP Proxy and Monitor that enables developers to view and intercept requests made from the browser. It is an open-source alternative to the popular developer tool Charles.

      Discontinued

Not sure if 'discontinued' is quite right, but James has now officially moved in 'maintenance mode', with little or no ongoing development or support. See the readme: https://github.com/james-proxy/james#this-project-is-in-maintenance-mode.

It would be helpful to highlight that here imo.
