Fenestrae — Window Layout Manager for Windows 11

Fenestrae solves two everyday annoyances for multi-monitor users: windows scattering every time your monitor setup changes, and the tedium of precisely aligning windows by hand.

Save and restore window layouts. Capture a snapshot of your current workspace — every window's position, size, and application — into a named profile. Profiles are automatically bound to your specific monitor configuration using a fingerprint of your display topology, so the right layout is restored automatically when you reconnect your monitors, wake from sleep, or log in. Arrange Mode — a snap canvas for your desktop. Press Ctrl+Win+A to activate a full-screen transparent overlay. While active, windows snap to each other's edges, to monitor edges and center lines, and to a configurable column grid. Blue alignment guides appear as you drag, and gap measurements between windows turn green when spacing is equal — making pixel-perfect layouts effortless. Scroll the mouse wheel to cycle grid presets (12, 8, 6, 4, or 3 columns). Hold Shift to lock dragging to a single axis; hold Ctrl to drag freely without snapping.

Designed to stay out of the way. Fenestrae runs silently in the system tray with no persistent UI. It only appears when you need it.
