https://ezgif.com/gif-to-mp4 they have a gif to mp4 converter. Works better than other things I've tried. I needed video controls on my gifs, so I wanted it in .mp4 format. I didn't want too much lossy compression though

works pretty nicely with ShareX

1. use sharex make gif
2. Dump it into ezgif mp4 converter
3. Dump video into something like streamable (streamable conversts gif to mp4 as well)
