What is Expiry.link?
Expiry.link is a free tool for sharing things that shouldn't live forever. It does two things: shortens URLs with automatic expiry, and creates self-destructing text notes for sensitive information. The link shortener lets you set a time limit (up to 30 days) or click limit (up to 1,000 clicks) when creating a short URL. Once the limit is reached, the link stops working automatically. This is useful for temporary download links, time-limited Canva invites, internal documents, form distribution, or any URL you don't want accessible or indexed long-term. The notes feature works like OneTimeSecret or PrivateBin — paste a password, credential, or private message, get a link to share, and the note self-destructs after being read once or after a set time. No account needed. Free to use. No signup required. No browser extension. No tracking on clicks.
