What is EdgeFlow?

EdgeFlow lets you control up to three Macs with one mouse and keyboard. Move the pointer past the screen edge and it crosses to the next Mac — the keyboard follows, with no switching and no shortcut. Unlike Universal Control, EdgeFlow does not need the same Apple ID on every device: it also works between a work Mac and a personal Mac with different Apple IDs. The Macs connect directly to each other, so separate networks are no obstacle; connect over Wi-Fi or by cable. On first connection both Macs show the same six-digit number, and you confirm which devices belong together. Requires macOS 14 or later on every Mac and the Accessibility permission.
