I use almost excusively DuckDuckGo nowadays but YaCy is my ideal. Fully open source, fully decentralized search engine. Unfurtunatelly is still is kind of beta-alpha product, however if you desire true alternative to the "do(n't) be evil" serach engine, you should keep an eye on it.
