Doughnut Alternatives

    Doughnut is described as 'podcast client built using Swift. The design and user experience are inspired by Instacast for Mac which was discontinued in 2015. After experimenting with alternate user interface layouts, I kept coming back to the three column layout as most useable and practical' and is an app in the Audio & Music category. There are more than 50 alternatives to Doughnut for a variety of platforms, including iPhone, Android, Online / Web-based, Mac and Windows. The best alternative is Clementine, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Doughnut are Strawberry (Free, Open Source), Pocket Casts (Freemium), AntennaPod (Free, Open Source) and Rhythmbox (Free, Open Source).
