What is DonatoTomato?

DonatoTomato is a hosted donation platform for nonprofits. Add donations to any website by embedding one line of code, dropping in a pop-up Donate button, or flipping on the WordPress plugin's no-code floating button.

Pricing is a flat 1% per donation with no monthly fee and no setup fee. Donations go straight into your own Stripe account, so your nonprofit stays the merchant of record and money never sits with a middleman. Card details never touch your site, because payment fields are hosted by Stripe.

Recurring donations, automatic IRS-ready tax receipts (your EIN plus the required statement), donor management, campaigns with goals, honoree and in-memory gifts, and an optional donor-covered card fee are all included. There is no separate guilt-tip prompt shown to your donors.

It works on WordPress through an official plugin (floating button, inline form, and Gutenberg blocks) and on any other site (Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, or plain HTML) through an embeddable widget or pop-up. The account is free to create; you only pay the flat 1% when you receive a donation.
