What is DocSearch+?
DocSearch+ is a mobile search application that enables full-text search within filenames and file contents. On initial use, users are guided to create indexes for quick keyword-based file searches. Search results are displayed in the result pane.
The app supports full-text search, in-app file viewing, and post-search options such as view, open, copy, move, delete, sort, filter, and share. It also provides advanced search features and supports various file formats and languages.
Subscription options include features such as sorting and filtering search results, unlimited file content viewing, and keyword search within the results.
Comments and Reviews
I use this app as a replacement for AndroSearch (discontinued), to access information stored in a shared dropbox folder on my phone. I suffered a brain injury and now need an external 'brain' to store information. I use a scansnap scanner to scan all documents to indexed and OCR-ed PDFs that can be then searched by DocSearch+ on my phone.
It has an advanced search interface with lots of selection criteria. Can index the whole phone or just select folders.
