DISCONTINUED
In the software's author's own words:
"DocPad lead the static-site-generator wave throughout 2011 until 2014, and I am proud of my investment's accomplishments during that time. However despite lingering users and a dark age of prolonged unpaid maintenance, these days it should be considered archived for the history books. It could not keep up with the competitive landscape in a way that provided return for investment, especially when considering the sunken ship of opportunity cost of the time that was invested into it."
-- I am making this report via comments because the "Report" option in the GearWheel menu up top right when logged in, does NOT WORK for me - see screenshot below.

Hello there. I have just set DocPad as Discontinued. Thanks for reporting.
By the way can you describe the issue you have with the Report option, please? I'll look into it.
@Danilo_Venom
Thanks for your follow up on my issue. I have sent an e-mail to hello@alternativeto.net as well as opened a thread on the forum. Basically, the issue is that, for me, the "Report Problem" item on the GearWheel menu or the link in the text in the description, does Not work. So I am unable to report this as well as the many other entries on AlternativeTo.net that I've come across which are now defunct. Would this be because I have just "contributor" privileges on AlternativeTo.net?
This problem stands resolved - issue was with the Pale Moon browser that I used. This conversation may be deleted by moderators if they so wish.
