What is DictoKey?

DictoKey lets you write by speaking on Android. It offers two independent ways to dictate: a standard Android keyboard (IME) and a floating dictation bubble that sits on top of most apps, so you can keep your usual keyboard and still dictate with one tap.

Clean mode restores punctuation and capitalization automatically, so dictated messages rarely need editing. You can also rewrite the dictated text with AI or translate it in real time. 52 languages are supported.

The bubble is adjustable (size, opacity, anchored position) and can be enabled app by app. It coexists with TalkBack. Sensitive apps such as banking apps and password managers are excluded automatically.

No account is needed to start. Speech recognition runs in the cloud, so an internet connection is required. Free with a daily dictation limit; Premium removes the limit.

Built with accessibility in mind: useful for people with limited hand mobility, tremors, arthritis or RSI, dyslexia, or anyone who writes faster by speaking.
