Devana

Devana is a free chat for communities, built and hosted in Europe. It’s easy to read, and the features stay out of the way of what matters most: people and conversations.

Find your people or build your own place. Browse spaces on topics you care about and join in, or create a space, split it into rooms and invite others. It works for friend groups, fandoms, projects, creators, streamers and event organisers.

You set the rules. Roles and per-room permissions decide who reads, who posts and who moderates, so even a big group stays in order. LucyBot mutes spam and greets newcomers, even while you sleep.

Nickname and text colours, GIF avatars and emoji, decent-sized files and your internet radio right in the room come as standard. Reactions, threads, polls, links and private conversations are built in.

Messages, files and accounts are stored on servers in the EU. Apps for web, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, plus an open API and bot tokens for those who like to tinker.
