Cyder is a lightweight application that allows you to download Cydia packages for your jailbroken iPhone from your desktop computer. Downloaded packages may then be moved onto your iPhone straight from Cyder, or manually through OpenSSH or an iPhone file manager (e.g. i-Funbox).

Since Cydia is the slowest app in the entire world, Cyder could prove to be pretty convenient if you know what you're doing. And by that, I mean that it takes a while to get used to the user interface. For example, there's no evident "download" button for any of the packages. It turns out you have to right click a package to actually download it. And even then, the download doesn't actually start. You then have to go the to the "Downloads" list, right click the selected package, and click "Download Selected". Why it's like this, I have no idea.

By the way, if you're wondering, no- there is no website for Cyder. Yeah, it's "that" kind of app.
