Comments and Reviews
I've been using it for years and it works very reliably with lots of different protocols.
I'm using Cyberduck solely for uploading to Amazon S3. It's been a huge headache. Cyberduck frequently fails to even start when the set of files is large. When it does start, it often crashes after around 100MB. Sometimes it fails to detect the file on each side of the transfer is the same file. And it doesn't have a mode that will properly mirror in one direction (delete files from the destination as necessary).
Cyberduck is a lousy tool for Amazon S3. It's marginally worse than Amazon S3 Firefox Organizer, which is as bad or worse. It feels like Amazon S3 support was an afterthought tacked on to an already bloated piece of software, and it was done poorly.
Switched from Filezilla to this. Better UI.
Very good FTP/SFTP client with a simple interface. I'm now on Linux, and I miss it a lot, especially since I'm forced to use FileZilla…
Very good free client. But it does struggle with some servers when uploading very large files. (time out error). Does not happen with other tools like Forklift.
Very disappointed. It’s a long time I know it and preferred other FTP softwares. I needed some Regexp filtering for the files and WinSCP does not manage it. Cyberduck does. But in global options, not for single site. And trying to download some heavy files, I was surprised to see speed transfer becoming very slow. WinSCP had no speed problem for these same files. I don’t like the one window management and I don’t like the call to bay when closing the software. Very disapointing.
It's a good FTP client without mount and integrated with cryptomator. If you need to mount and have money to paid, go for Mountain Duck.
1 thing that makes me deduct 1 star for cyberduck is that it sometimes getting errors when uploading large files.
