What is Customermates?

I’m building Customermates, an open-source CRM for small teams that want customer records and follow-ups to stay useful. Contacts, organizations and deals can be updated through its interface, REST API, webhooks or an external AI client connected through MCP.

The self-hostable core is AGPL-3.0-only and runs with Docker Compose and PostgreSQL. Enterprise features are separately licensed. The official Community image contains limited commercial support code, so it is not wholly OSI-licensed. Self-hosting does not include the hosted Mate assistant or unified inbox.

Customermates Cloud adds Mate, subject to an eligible plan, available credits and enablement. The unified inbox is available from Pro for supported email and social channels. Starter costs €12, Pro €29 and Business €69 per user per month, with custom Enterprise pricing and a 7-day hosted trial.
