CrystalDiskInfo is not available for Mac but there are a few alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality. Works pretty alright, enough for my needs, though there's some values where it will say "pre-failure" for even the values you get out-of-the-box with a new drive, something to be aware of.
To respond to the one negative comment, all drives will show as "unknown device" IF you don't run the program with admin privileges -- even my SATA HDDs and SSDs will display as "unknown device" if I do not have superuser privs.
