Works pretty alright, enough for my needs, though there's some values where it will say "pre-failure" for even the values you get out-of-the-box with a new drive, something to be aware of.

To respond to the one negative comment, all drives will show as "unknown device" IF you don't run the program with admin privileges -- even my SATA HDDs and SSDs will display as "unknown device" if I do not have superuser privs.

It doesnt support NVME SSD's which was the WHOLE reason I wanted to chcek the smart stats. This useless pile of junk just says it is an unknown device! The disk in question is a fully SMART compatible NVME SSD from a major disk manaufacturer - if this program cant identifu it it isnt much good!

Entirely command-based with no quick start guide for when you just want to check a disk.

Small, easy, complete, don't know how to use it just smartctl -h or man smartctl and you will have all the documentation you need.

SMARTReporter is an application that can warn you of some hard disk drive failures before they actually happen! It does so by periodically polling the built-in S.M.A.R.T. status of your hard disk drives as well as performing other checks for "I/O errors" or R.A.I.
