Countin

CountIn adds a synced count-in to your backing track in the browser: mark beat one and it drops in a lead-in (hi-hat or sticks) that ends on the downbeat, so the band starts together. You can also change the key to fit your singer. No account, and it takes under a minute.

What is Countin?

CountIn adds a synced count-in to a backing track, so your band comes in together instead of guessing when the song starts. Load a track, mark where it lands on beat one, and CountIn drops in a lead-in that ends exactly on the downbeat. Choose the sound (hi-hat, open hi-hat or sticks) and set its volume so it sits right in the mix. This is a count-in, a short lead-in of a bar or two, not a click track that runs through the whole song.

It reads the tempo of your track automatically, and you can nudge the BPM by hand or tap it in when you want the count-in dead on the beat.

CountIn also changes the key. Shift a song up or down in semitones to fit your singer's range, with the tempo left untouched, so the track still lines up with the rest of your set.

Everything runs in the browser. No install, no account, and it takes under a minute: upload, set the count-in and key, preview, then export a stage-ready file. Preview processing happens on your device, and uploaded files are removed after export. Works with MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and OGG.

Built for cover bands, worship teams and solo performers who play to backing tracks and need a clean, on-time start every song.
