I like the interface and that it's an online service and that it is supposed to download transactions from my bank (s).
Looks promising. Supports UK banks but no obvious forecasting abilities and report are very basic
I love how easy CountAbout is to set up and edit categories. The reporting is intuitive and exactly what I need. Customer Service has been fast and clear. I was a Mint user for 2 years and a Quicken user for 20 years before that. Mint was overly simplistic and not really useful - horrible reporting, not to mention loads of duplicate transactions in 2017. What led me to CountAbout was a wasted 30 min chat session with Mint where nothing was resolved. Quicken used to be my favorite application of all time until the functionality became way too complex and the downloads kept breaking. Their customer support has Pacific workday support hours so once I'd eeked out time to talk to them during my own workday, I had to spend hours and hours doing catch up on my transactions. VERY happy to have found CountAbout!
Easy to download Quicken data. Easy to navigate and set up. Custom reports and the price is right.
Easy to convert my Quicken data to CountAbout. All my categories, tags, accounts transferred easily. Excellent support when I had questions.
It is intuitive and simple for a senior citizen like me who may not be as tech savvy as the young folks with apps. I can download to EXCEL easily enough and create pivot tables for what I need at tax time. Was a breeze to setup. I made an error that the co-founder immediately responded and helped me with.
