CortexDrop

Files are stored on IPFS nodes in multiple regions, so on download you connect to the closest one — that's what keeps it fast, even for large files. Decentralized and content-addressed, not tied to a single server.

CortexDrop

Files are encrypted client-side in your browser before upload, so they're never stored in plaintext on IPFS.

What is CortexDrop?

CortexDrop is a secure, privacy-first alternative to WeTransfer. Every file is encrypted in your browser before it uploads — then it's pinned to IPFS, a decentralized network, so your (already encrypted) data isn't parked in one company's silo.

Share a link with an optional password, an expiry, or a download limit. On the free plan links last 7 days and files go up to 2 GB; on paid plans you get much larger files and links that never expire. No ads, no upsell spam, and no account needed just to send.

Whether you're sending one private file or you're a team handling sensitive documents, CortexDrop scales with you — shared workspaces, download tracking, and an audit trail when you need them. Free to start.
