What is Coroo?
Coroo turns your map into a personal notebook. Multiple collections – one for private trips, one for work, one for a road trip – come with Premium.
Within a collection you save spots on the map (a restaurant, a viewpoint, a campsite), each collection with its own categories and tags. Every spot can hold as many notes as you like, and each note has a date, a category, tags and photos. Revisiting a spot simply adds another note, so a single point on the map keeps its whole story over time.
Filter your entries by category, tag, country, date or favorites, and back up your data. Everything stays on the device: no user account, no cloud, no tracking. Coroo is a privacy-friendly alternative to Google My Maps and Google Maps for collecting and remembering your own places.
Developed by a small team in Zurich, Switzerland. Available for iOS and Android. Free to use, with an optional Premium version.
