Core is a macOS-native writing environment for people who research, think, and write at length. Its agentic AI editor reads your entire manuscript — not just the paragraph in view — and helps you revise, critique, and think things through, instead of generating text for you.
Manuscript, notes, and research live in a single window, with built-in search across the Library of Congress, the Internet Archive, Open Library, and Japan's National Diet Library — so checking a fact or finding a source happens without leaving the app. Your files are stored locally and are never used to train AI, and an optional "written by human" certificate can document that a draft was typed rather than pasted. Deep Japanese typography — vertical writing (tategaki), ruby, emphasis dots, and manuscript-grid layout — is built in from the ground up. Export to PDF, DOCX, and EPUB.
