Copyloom keeps a history of what you copy on Windows: text, links, code and images. Press a shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+V, or Win+V if you let Copyloom take it over) and a small list opens at the mouse pointer or text cursor. Search as you type, pick a clip, and it is pasted into the app you came from. Shift pastes plain text.
The library window groups your history by day and shows the selected clip in full. You can favorite clips, sort them into categories, rename them and edit their text.
Copyloom can also capture an area of the screen and open it in an image editor with arrows, rectangles, text, highlighting, numbered steps, pixelation, redaction and cropping. Text in images can be copied using Windows' built-in text recognition.
The history is stored in an encrypted database on your PC. You choose how long clips are kept, and you can exclude apps such as password managers, pause collection, make local backups and export your history with a password.
Copyloom is free and open source under the GPL-3.0. Available in English and Swedish.
