Codeman is a free, open-source (MIT), self-hosted web UI for AI coding agents. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Pi, Grok Build, DeepSeek Harness and OMP in persistent tmux sessions on your own machine (Linux or macOS, Windows through WSL2) and streams the real terminals to any browser, phone included. Agents keep working when you close the browser or the laptop you watch from.
Tabs turn yellow or red when an agent needs you, a tile grid shows up to six live terminals side by side, and an optional approvals inbox plus web push let you answer agents from your phone. On a phone you get a touch terminal with zero-lag typing, a key bar for Esc, Tab and arrows, and QR-code login.
It can also resume Claude Code after a usage limit resets, run scheduled agent jobs, keep each project in its own Docker container, and browse, preview and edit files in the browser. It binds to localhost by default and has no account, no cloud service and no telemetry.
