Clover Comments

Very convenient, but has problems that some may make do with

It's pretty easy to use it, you can use ctrl + t to create a tab, ctrl + w to close it... Almost like with chrome!
Unfortunately, it updates too frequently for my tastes (almost daily), which interrupts my workflow too much, even though the updates are fast.
I just wish you could disable them or the updates were less frequent, plus you don't even know what is updated since the update UI is in chinese.

Clover is probably the best tabs solution for windows right now (I mean, aesthetically), but since the 3.2.7 update (2017-01-19) it has a VIP option, wich means that the free version comes with ads, so be aware of that.

Anyone else using this on Windows 10? How's it working for you? I was having really annoying issues and had to uninstall it. I really need tabs in Explorer, but qttabbar simply doesn't cut it.

I was using Clover v3 too but it is so buggy with Window 10 that it's gone to oblivion. I just want a simple File Manager that has Tabs & Favorites. Clover was very good in that you could have favorite folders arranged at the top. I am trying out Small Explorer++ iconExplorer++ A word of advice: before you install it, r/click on it's .exe and choose to run in compatibility mode or it will crash when you r/click in a pane (the white area in Documents, for example). If I find something that works with Windows 10 and is simple enough, I will post it here. Hope others will do the same. Cheers from New Zealand.

It's very clean, although Yandex hasn't provided any skins for it yet.

I was running it on Windows Vista, and sometimes it loaded a bit slow, other times it crashed. I'd considered again in the future though.

For now, I'll use QTTabBar for my customized shells on Windows.
